Here are some examples of my technical illustration work. I have been creating illustrations in Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand since 1993. I am very proficient in shading, and 3 dimensional design in a non-3D program.
The majority of these examples were created for the Public Service Electric and Gas Nuclear Training Center. I was responsible for re-creating old black and white illustrations that were fading with age. Adding different colors and depth made them easier to understand. The Training Center required consistant angles and accurate scaling, so isometric illustration was needed. Isometric design takes shapes like squares and circles, and places them all on the same plane by rotating, skewing and vertically reducing the shape. This is also where I learned to create realistic vector based clip art.
